Student Success Statement
“Nothing in the world can take
the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than
unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; the world is full of educated
derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan
‘press on’ has solved and always will solve the problem of the human race.”
-Calvin Coolidge, 30 president
of the United States
Reflection: I think his quote
means a lot of the time you have to persist in order to do what is right in the
world. SO is just not you doing whats right, but other’s see what you do for
your own benefit, and how much effort you put in your daily life so you can be
achieving.
